Help me talk my friend into NOT doing something STUPID!!
He has a '94 GSR w/ basic bolt ons and wants to get bigger injectors. He's not even planning on going turbo, he's planning on stroking his engine but that's not for a while. I've tried but what can i say to tell him NOT TO GET INJECTORS!
HA, whats the point of bigger injectors?
He is no where near 100 duty cycle with those injectors. What a waste of money. He can get that thing tuned with those mods and injectors, and have much more room to dump fuel in with stock injectors with his mods now.

Just sit him down and explain to him that what hes doing has very little to no benefit what so ever.

let him do it, and tell him to keep his old injectors.
then when he realize what he did he will put it back on.

tell your friend he is a f'ing moron... and to ask people that know what they are doing whether or not he is going to need them.. like shop owners/engine builders.. I have a shitload of boltons and a milled head and im still running stockies.. and they are doing great. jut tell him to turn up the fuel pressure a little bit if anything.

tell him "FINE U FREAKIN MORON DO STUPID **** TO UR CAR AND WHEN U REALIZE WHAT STUPIDITY U HAVE DONE TO UR CAR DONT COMPLAIN OR I WILL SHOOT U..." or just take his money n hold it til he fergets bout the injectors
Tell him to invest in an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a liquid-filled fuel pressure gauge.

You know....if he's not going to listen to you, what in the world makes you think he'd listen to any of us? Not trying to come down on ya, but just a wooden nickel's worth of advice here, let the stubborn be stubborn, let those who will listen, be the ones you talk to. He's probably hiped up off of something he read or off of some misinterpreted crap someone told him about tuning. More fuel does not necessarily mean more HP. In fact, doing it wrong, he can run into problems with his motor. But even then, that may not necessarily be the case. In some cases, I've seen dumbasses do that and not even gain an ounce of performance....just losing miles per gallon
( and that's them being lucky ). I've seen worse. But I'll let your friend find out what can happen and what won't happen by just doing larger injectors.
Its his money and his car. I take it you've already mentioned this to him...so when and if he ***** up his own car....he can't blame you for not trying to stop him from making a potentially costly mistake. Its his own fault. Let him learn on his own.
Take note to my sig....

What the hell you idiots talking about? bigger injectors means more fuel going into the engine!! with more fuel comes bigger bang!! its like throwing a cup of gas in your fire place at home to start the fire or a bucket(i have tried both and do not recommend the bucket!!!).... tell him hes right and get the bigger ones for more power and now he will be able to shoot flames out of the exhaust!!
