torque specs on b16 rod bolts and main caps
Hey guys, I need the torque specs for this stuff, I have the manual but left it at home(car is at uncles home is 2 hours away) please help so I can finish my build today, I have them done at 38 on the main caps and 23 on the rods but I know that is for a d series so please help. Thanks.
oh come on guys pick up your freaking service manual If I had mine here I would answer this for anyone who asked, even if it was for a motor other than mine, heck if yu have the 96-00 civic service manual you have what i need gosh,

Sweet christ dont listen to this kid. Rods are 31ft lbs and mains are 22, then 56 ft lbs, this is directly from the helm manual

Okay guys I appreciate it but here is what the official service manual says for a b16a2, main caps, 23 then 56 ft pounds, and the rod nuts in the case of a stock rod, in my case with my eagle rods with arp bolts, 30 ft pounds, this can be found on page 7-6 and 7-3 in the 96-00 service manual it went great I guessed and was close enough i'll finish them off next weekend. thanks agian.

The specs I pulled was for a B18, so but hey as long at the **** isn't hand tight or too tight.
