Default Help headlight problem!

I just bought a 94 civic cx hatch with a jdm b16 in it. I noticed when I turn my headlights on it takes them about 10 seconds to come on. What could be the problem? Is there a switch or a relay that goes bad and causes this to happen?

Thanks

Why do you say I should get a new car? I will replace the bulbs and see if that is what the problem is.

Thanks

if your battery is crappy and your lights are high voltage, sometime it has tot ake power away from the cars other functions to power the lightsa, try a stronger battery

OK I will check that out. The bulbs are stock and the wiring harness seems to be in good shape. So I don't think any high wattage bulbs were used prior to me buying the car.
