well i was selling my TBR slip-on exhaust on here for $200 +$35 shipping. i had a couple people ask me about it. but one sent payment. (thesilverbullet) well anyway it took me a couple days to get it out cause of work occuping my time during the post office hrs. and i wanted to wait till the check clears (couple days for a personal check) so on my day off (the 30th) i overnighted it just cause i felt bad for waiting those couple days(4-5) well the day it was going to be delivered (1st) i looked in my bank and the guy stopped payment on the check. (the day it was to be recieved. so now im out $70 in overnight shipping costs, and the guy hasnt responded to my pm's what do you think?

 

Almost get scammed... i think you did get scammed... but lucky for you he sent a personal check so it should have all his info on it. If i were you i would contact your local P.D. and then contact his local P.D. and let them know what happened... they will be on his door step in a day or 2. Believe me...

no i got the exhaust coming back from ups... so ill have it sometimne this week.

 

well it is good you're getting the exhaust back, but arent you still out the $70 overnight charges? if so I think you did get scammed.

In my defense here, let me say that I hate scammers and there was/is no scam going on, at all, period.

I accidentally went overdraft with the check when some heavy bills came in and the bank showed it as run through but didn't cover it. So, I'm getting W.O.P. a money order this time and we're good. I'm also picking up the UPS charge since I screwed up.

I didn't respond to the PM's 'cause I was traveling for the Fourth of July. Anyway, a lot of you know me here ... just wanted to tell what happened on my end.
