Default where to buy a tig

i am going to get a miller sinc 180 sd the prices on ebay are 1531.00 or somthing like that my local store sells them for 1800.00 i just want to get this welder in good shape but if i buy it locally i pay tax so that makes it almost 500 bux more so buying it from somwhere else looks good. here is the link to the ones on ebay they sell alot free shipping and everything.

i bought mine from ebay. probably the same place. it came truck freight and i had it in less than a week after i paid for it. the only drawback from buying it on ebay is that then you have to go buy all your other stuff. i went to buy tungstens and filler rods and the guy asked me where i got it from because if they sell a machine then he gives them a bunch of tungstens and filler rod. plus you can get your gas from the same place and all your other little things and they'll probably cut you a break if you buy a bunch of stuff. i had no problems from buying it on ebay except i had to buy my stuff. even though the guy still hooked me up since i bought gas from him. he gave me like 3 tungstens and a lb. of filler (not much but it helped out)

Thats Indiana Oxygen Company. They are GREAT people. Must have a killer connection with Miller because nobody seems to come close to their prices. I went into my local welding shop, and told them of IOC's eBay auction, and they price matched it no questions asked. They didnt even look up the auction, just took my word for it. And as stated, buyign from your local shop is always nice....I now get employee discount on everything!

I bought mine from here. http://cyberweld.com/
Make sure to get the runner package, much easier to move around.

i bought mine off ebay too. from the same company. i got it pretty quickly too.

as for the runner package i dont see why you'll need it, i mean how often are you going to be moving it around. how far will that cord go? i have my welder sitting next to my table, still on the wooden blocks that it came on. save that extra 100-150 bucks and put it towards a table that youll eventually wanna make.

Me personally use the cart every single time I use the welder itself. I store the welder on one side of the garage and do my work on another....my garage is about 800 square feet...but nothing a 220 extension cord cant take care of. I use the extension core everytime also, as it is permanently wired to an outlet behind a HUGE *** Matco tool box.
