Default modifying LS head for turbo??

Ok I bought a separate b18A1 bottom end from a 93 LS for $150 and rebuild it (sleeved, pistons and rods). I also bought a separate 94 LS head for $50 with all the parts from a good friend. I am planning on boosting 20psi max, should I upgrade the head or is stock ok? If so what should I get done? I already a search and was unsuccessful in finding this info. So if someone could please help me out.

Stock should be ok. But If I were doing mine again I would get springs and retainers.

i woudl go with valve springs and retainers its easy to float a valve on a ls.. especially if you rev over 8200 rpm alot.

Since you have the head off, you could get ss valves (just on the exhause if money is tight). They're not necessary, just more piece of mind.

I would do exhaust valves too. Lots of heat at 20 psi.
Definetly springs, retainers and holders--to take it past 7k r's.
Maybe a mild port job on the exhaust ports. It'll reduce exhaust speed but flow more air.

consider doing a port match on the exhaust I notices that a lot of the cast type manifolds are bigger than your ex ports, and consider gasket match port on intake
