Default 03-05 Accord V6 Custom Turbo Work

Im getting my Accord V-6 here soon, and the engine has soooo much potential, and the engine bay has a crap ton of empty space. Space I would like to fill with a turbo or maybe even 2. However there is nothing even close to a kit anywhere that Ive seen, so im wondering would it be worth it to have sumone do everything custom? or should I simply wait with fingers crossed and hope one will come out soon? Also Ive looked into buying the supercharger kit for the 99-02 V6.....do you think it would require many major mods to fit the newer engine? Lemme know, thanks!

Hello -
I own a repair/high performance shop in Buffalo.I want to build a "tuner"
Accord to help break into the Import Performance Market.I presently own a
03" Accord 4 cyl stick Coupe.I want to turbocharge it - However if a V6 is a
better way to go,I`ll sell the 4 cyl and buy a V6.I bought the 4 cyl because
the engine bay configuration appears to be more freindly for the turbo and
intercooloer locations.I`m very interested in any information about this.

Best Luck, -
Dave

goodfucking luck with that. you'll need a ton of money, patience...and expertiese. the 98-02 V6 supercharger produces a mere 30 HP?! and it costs 5 grand
itd be easier to do a 4 banger, tho i'd be impressed if someone pulled off a turbo for the 6

Lots of engine space? I think thats kinda hard to believe hence why Comptech's Supercharger for the 7th gen isnt out yet. Theres no room for the jackshaft. Space is so limited in the bay of those cars.

There has been only one turbo 7th gen but I dont know what ever happened to him.

Hey - I only asked cause I need your (or someone with some experience`s
help. - So Do I work with the four cyl? and I`m not talking about
supercharging.I want to turbocharge.Thats why I do not believe
there`s enough room in the V6 engine bay - Can anyone tell me
(with reason) a 03 4 cyl - or and 01-03 V6 ?

Thanks - Dave

it will be kinda hard getting your 7th gen v6 turbocharged considering the fact that our cars have no exhaust manifolds. The only chance we have is if this falls through http://www.v6performance.net/f...44786

I think that would make it alot easier. Just make an adapter plate to go between the turbo and the head. No need for an elaborate manifold like on the 4 cylinders.

actually your are right. I got a little bit carried away and just started typing away before i could actually think. The reason i said no is because i haven't heard of doing it on v6performance.net. But actually i corrected myself with a little bit of searching. here you go man, it is a long thread but nice indeed http://www.v6performance.net/f...block
