Default planning to buy a Jdm d15b for my civic, questions!

Hey guys, this guy is selling his Jdmd15bvtec motor and tranny and all the stuff included below. read on. now im plannin to buy it off him, cause my motor is burning oil, its obd0 ghetoness and my tranny is all 'f*kd up + no Reverse gear, pulling off a "flinstones" these past 2 weeks to get outta my driveway neways look below .....

Additional items/comments

JDM SOHC VTEC Motor w 70K (Bought at 50K)
97 Si tranny, no grinds at all.
Doesen't burn oil, very clean motor, runs perfect

Comes complete to drop in 92-95 civics.
Comes with harness, driveshafts, shifter linkages, motor mounts, tranny and ecu. Comes with power steering pump as well.
*bonus* Also including a ractive header with the motor.

...Now my questions are, will i be able to drop this motor into my 91 civic Si hatch without buying extra stuff, like conversion harnesses for the Ecu, and will that 97 Si Tranny work for my car? cause i think its hydraulic right? its still in the guys car, and hes sellin it all of it for 600$ all info/help needed plz..... thanks guys

if you use that tranny, you'll need to do the hydro conversion.
just find a 89-91 tranny and use that with the d15b.

right now im running obd-0, with a 91 si tranny.

If you do get that engine, you will need to swap the driver side mount from your old engine block onto that new engine. I put a JDM D15B into my 89 DX last year and didn't realize until the engine was already in there. It is a pa-zain in the iz-*** to change an engine mount when it's already in the car. Especially if you don't want your timing belt cover looking all fucked up afterwards.

Unfortunately for you it is an OBD-1 engine. Your either gonna have to wire it up for OBD-1 yourself or buy the conversion subharness. Another option is to stick your old intake manifold and distributor on there and call it good. The bad thing with that is you'll have no VTEC and you may have to drill your old dizzy to make it fit into two holes (like I did). I wish I had just got a ZC but at the time I didn't know **** about OBD 0 or 1. I just went off the fact that the place I bought it from said "It'll drop right into a CRX".
