Trying to find that DIY APEX-i VAFC wire plug thread...
normally i'd just search for it, but i believe the thread title differred from what i was looking for...
anyways, awhile back someone did a DIY for a vafc wiring where he went to a computer store and bought like a computer socket, and wired each vafc wire to it. he then mounted the plug socket onto his dash or center console or something and it showed how he could just simply plug and unplug his vafc via this socket. does anyone happen to know the thread?
i can't find it. i even searched through the FAQ thread stickied at the top.

If I'm not mistaken the thread title was something like "Show your Vafc mounting locations..." Didnt search for it because I'm on dial-up and, well, you know, it's ******* slow.

^That wasnt the title cause i searched recents and it wasnt there and looking through "VAFC" it wasnt there either. I dont want to go to archieves because tahts 1000+ pages.

i cna't seem to find it either, and i cna't remember the thread title. i remember bauleycivic posted in the thread though, so maybe he can chime in.

never mind.... im sure that its not hard.... get a male and a female serial ports and thats is...
your not gonna use all the pins so if you can find somthing smaller...... like tha serial port of a pc screen. its even better....

I know this doesnt answer your question, but i found this after wiring my VAFC. saves your harness and most companies don't sell them anymore like Field.
