HELP me out....uggghh!
Alright, I have a 1991 Civic Crx with a b18A LS intergra motor, PR4 OBD 0 ECU. I was driving on the expressway crusing at about 80 mph when I heard some clicking coming from behind me, all of a sudden i started losing power like crazy, then everything went *poof* no electricity what so ever. I depressed the clutch and coasted to a stop at the next exit. The guy who had the car before me relocated the battery to the back of the car and apperantly put a saftey switch between the positive wire coming out of the battery and the positive cable running into the engine bay. The cable losened from the switch and, I believe, grounded itself , hence the clicking...or sparking i heard behind me. So, me and my friend pen the trunk and tear out the switch and electric tape the two postive cable ends together making an unbroken path from the battery to the engine bay. I tried to restart the car and it did but it was extremely rough so i shut it back off and let it sit for a few minutes. When i tried to restart all it did was crank and backfire like a firework store on fire. We towed it back to my house, my first assumption was the ecu burned out but i decided to check the timing first. When i got the engine cover unbuttoned I found that the prev ious owned installed an aftermarket underdrive pulley on the crank with out notching a timing mark into it so i pulled the spark plug from the #1 cylinder and put my ratchet extension in the hole soit was touching the piston, i thenrotated the crank untill the extension stopped moving upwards, TDC and then i inspected the cam lobes for the cylinder, which were on their side meaning the valveswere closed which was good enough for me that the ttiming wasnt off. I put everything back together and tried top crank the car, now it will backfire once in the first 5 cranks and then thats it...theres a horrible smell of fuel. I then decided that probably the injectors or something to do with them is fried, i unplugged the wiring harnesses that route from the injectors to the injector resistor and to what i suppose would be the ecu. I then sprayed ether into the cold air intake, and cranked. The engine fired and tried to maintain but once the ether burned off it obviously died. I pulled the floor panel up the check the ecu and i get one blink upon turning the key to the on position and nothing else, so im assuming there are no trouble codes stored, altho there hasnt been enough running time after the shut down for it to register anyway. So, im pretty much stuck, i dont want to buy all new components for the wholecar and guess and testmy way to a $1200 dollar credit car bill just to find out i wasnt pushing down the clutch or something haha so if anyone has anything specific i should be looking at orrrr maybe my diagnosis isnt even close, i dont know...any help would be appreciated big time
tried checking fuses under dash and the big fuses under the hood?
EDIT: sorry i didnt read the whole thing...
Maybe try a new dizzy or ignitor

Do you think its the dizz even tho im still getting spark? I pulled each plug and held it against the block while cranking and got spark each time, thats what confuses me so much.
No i hear the fuel pump, i just think the injectors are either stuck open or they are getting a bad signal and just dumping too much fuel and its flooding the motor and making the car reak like gas.

If you're unsure with what is wrong, start with the basics, check stuff like cam timing, fuel pressure... etc etc...

I'd pull the carpet and check for any bad wires breaks headed up front.
The tard that previously owned my rex relocated the battery as well. He used about 5 different pieces of 4 and 8 gauge and thought tape was rare as gold. I put the battery back up front (stock si motor) and pulled the cable. There was wire exposed in 3 differnt spots, with marks on the floor where it had touched metal. This will cause serious issues in the long run.
Pull the battery out, have it checked, and then check the wiring headed up front.
