brought in my 2001 s2000 to have an alarm put in, go to get the car and it won't start. The car is trying to turn over but no fuel is going to the engine. Now the car alarm did not have a remote starter.

anyone have any suggestions how to fix?

 

Does it have a kill switch?

Did you disconnect any grounds?

How do you know you arent getting fuel instead of not getting spark?

i dont know if it has a kill switch, i don't know if its not getting a spark, this is just information relayed to me from the guys doing the work KHF in Scarborough or better known as Kensai Racing.

all i know is im getting ticked off that i just bought a car that now wont start

p.s. i appologize for my harshness but im sure you can understand what a week without a working car that you just bought is like.

 

The autostart probably doesn't work because of immobilzer (fuel pump gets no power unless the key is in close range to the key-hole). If it wont start with the key then they may have installed something (improperly) to allow it to autostart by bypassing immobilizer and in the process totally screwed something up.

 

is the alarm unarmed?

 

since they worked on it lets them fix it................ i mean if ur car went into the shop 100 percent ok and they put the alarm and now it wont start i would tell them to fix my ****
