Do i need to convert to mpfi while conv. to obd1????
I was reading several post about ppl converting from DPFI to MPFI OBD1, which what is my project now. I dont understand some of the process, any help but mostly DIY websites and **** please, that will help me greatly! I see they just cut all wires going to the resistor box and soder, can i just wire up my injectors? or do i have to wire all that ****?
But basically I am dpfi with B18b sitting in there nice and pretty waiting patiently to raom the streets. I have the ecu jumper harnness thanks to BLOWN90HATCH .... and i have the dizzy jumper harnness thanks to locashracing.com
Thanks peps remember what comes around goes around so help a brother out dont be a dick and say search

some of these are for d16a6 to d16z6 which is making it obd1 minus the vtec
I would search the faq's if I were you. I know there is **** in there.
Also if you are converting to obd1 I would think you could skip the injector part of it as far as going to the resistor box but I am guessing from the Ecu up to the fuel injectors clips will need to be similar. (if you get what I mean)

Read that **** and it comes clear. The main problem is that few sites really get into MFPI+OBD1+EngineSwap all in one, or at least the way I'm going.
DPFI cars don't have a resistor box, they just need the 2 injector wires ran out & all four connected to the injector sub-harness.
The other thing to note with the dizzy harness, if its a DPFI car, I'm 99% sure you'll still have to run the crank pos. sensor wires to the right spot. It was made for a mpfi car so you wouldn't have to repin any connector. Check out the http://www.boomslang.us pdf (v1.4) on installing their obd0-obd1 harness, it'll make sense.

You can repin the locash jumper to work tho, just follow the directions on the jkobd, and you have to swap 2 wires.
