obd0
I trying to convert to obd1 from obd0 but, I did a search and it didn't help. I got a DA series teg, trying to run uberdata or something like that but, I'm not quite sure of all the stuff I need to get. Any help would be great, don't want to go out and buy bunch of stuff I don't need?

Re: obd0 (crispydee)
For the OBD0 to OBD1 conversion you will need the following:
MPFI chassis or Std/Dx chassis converted from DPFI to MPFI.
OBD1/2 Distributor*
4 Wire O2 sensor**
OBD1 ecu
OBD0 to OBD1 conversion harness
The OBD1/2 injectors are optional. If you decide to keep the OBD0 injectors or want to run Peak and Hold injectors, you will need to use the resistor box. If you decide that you want to run OBD1/2 injectors you will remove the resistor box and solder the 5 wires together at that plug or use the OEM junction plug. Also, you will need to solder on the OBD1/2 clips or repin them to fit the plugs.
*You can run the OBD1 or OBD2 distributor for your setup. Example, OBD2 distributor with OBD1 ecu is fine. Just remember to get the distributor that matches your setup or you may have to do some fitting. The connectors from the OBD0 engine harness do not mate with the OBD1/2 distributor. You will either need to make a jumper harness, cut and solder on the mating distributor plugs or repin the distributor plugs. Basically you want two of the same mating plugs. On my conversion harnesses, I make them so that you can match the colors on the distributor plugs when you do the conversion excluding the two white wires. Some distributors have funky colors, for example, the distributor king distributors have some non-oem colors on them. I have all the colors for the conversion if needed. Also, if you are running the AEM EMS or other managments that allow you to select the trigger wheel information, you can still run the OBD0 MPFI distributor. You do not need to change to the OBD1/2 distributor.
**Unless you plan to disable your O2 sensor in your standalone, all OBD1/2 ecus require the 4 wire O2 sensor.
