Default what wheel color?... cant decide

i have black rota slipstream rims on a 96 black hatchback.... i was going to get some rota grids but im broke so im going to paint my slips either white, bronze or gold... just have to keep in mind what slipstreams look like in those colors because one of the colors may not look good on my rims but good on others.... its hard for me to decide because bronze looks a little funny on slips and white is a little flashy but im really open to any color but i was leaning towards those 2...

Thats pretty much it...just use some aircraft stripper and index cards around the tires/wheels then once everything is off you may want to wet sand the wheels with 1500 grit sandpaper to make everything smooth and looking nice and even then some metal polisher to finish it off. Some people put clearcoat on the polished wheel but it won't rust since slips should be aluminum.

Exactly. If you don't rush it, you won't be dissapointed.

Trust me dude...it will look VERY good. That car was dark green and you saw how good it looked . Just do it...if you don't like it just paint the wheels whatever color you want.

Aircraft stripper won't damage tires but you can stick index cards where the tire bead runs...basically where the tire meets the rim.

Or you can remove your tires from your wheels but IMO that is a pain in the *** when what I said above works .

I'd bet just stripped would look nice, but if you really put in the effort, it really does show, and the effort gets a ton of respect from everyone man.

Hazy like how? My guess is there is a mild blemish and was just painted over. You can use some 1500 grit wet sandpaper and do the whole wheel then move up to 2000 then after everything is dried use some rubbing compound and polish it out.

Pics?
