Default Polishing GS-R wheels????????????

Hey I just wanted to know what you guys use to polish your stock GS-R wheels. Is there a certain wheel polish I am supposed to use or can I use just about any kind of metal polish?

the 98 gsr wheels are already polished and they have a special coat on them to protect the wheels...if u polish that coat off it might need to recoat them.

If you knew how to read, you would have seen that he drives a `94, which indefinately the finish has long since worn off.

I've heard stories all the time about buffing wheels. You should be able to find an aluminum compound. Try that... Good luck!

So I could probably use just about any aluminum polish. I don't think i really want to go through and sand them down. I just want them to look like new again if that is even possible.

They are CLEAR COATED. Use clear coat safe car polish and a buffer. Be careful, the clear coat will be real thin on the edges.

reading you guys comments is always a blast.

3 steps to polishing them:

Step 1: use aircraft remover and remove all the paint on the rims.

Step 2: wash.

Step 3: Use metal polish on the rims.

your done.
