will older gauge clusters work with my 96 civic ex?

hey guys

my gauge cluster is hosed, well the speedometer is at least.

i want to buy one, (gotta wait till my trial status is gone) but i dont know if i have to find another one exactly from a 96 model or not?

Any cluster from 96-00 will work

You can also use an older model one. But you would have to re-wire it. If you can find one, get a 96-00 one as its much simpler to just plug and play.
