can you adapt an itr caliper to fit gsr? is there any difference in the calipers themselves?
can this be done at all? is there really any differences in the calipers? will the braking be better if i upgrade the rotors as well, thinking about getting some cadmium plated kvr or something along that lines

R calipers are larger, but the rotors are as well. Are the rotors thicker????
I do know that the ITR and the 97-01 Lude share the same rotors and calipers. I am sure Lude parts are cheaper...

Prelude is same caliper and rotor but rotor needs to be redrilled for 4X100. Easy to do. The caliper brackets also need to be milled 5mm which Fastbrakes can do. It is a simple procedure that makes a HUGE difference.
I have the conversion and can vouch for it. I got the redrilled 1pc rotors and used Hawk HPS pads. The fitment was OK, but I could have saved myself about 6 hours worth of install (or rather shaving time) by using the 2pc rotors. For some reason I had a lot of clearance issues where the backside of the rotor would scrape the caliper bracket and brake pad retainers. Dust shields were trimmed down and bent back...which worked fine.
The braking power is significantly increased and I can now make the ABS kick in if I brake hard enough.
If you're looking to save unsprung weight, use the 2pc rotors with Wilwood 4 piston calipers. Ask Brian (of fastbrakes) about the weight savings. They're lighter than the 1pc/ITR setup, that's for sure tho...the calipers feel like they weight 7 to 10 pounds a piece.

Last time i checked, Brian had some extra front 11" redrilled 1pc rotors that he needed to get rid of...check with him to see if he's still got excess inventory to get rid of.

how much do stock itr calipers weigh? i wont mind saving weight, that works for me since i am using my street tires now and they are 17's, the weight reduction would help. i thought the fast brakes kit didnt use wilwood calipers anymore? doesnt willwood make their own kit now for integras?
