Default 88 CRX Beater, thinking about flat black

This is my beater. The other CRX is an auto, just mounted the 5speed pedals and I hope to get it on the road soon. As you can see the red one is a piece and I always wanted it flat black. I just picked up the prelude mesh rims yesterday at a junkyard for 100 bucks with practicaly new goodyear tires. Any opinions on the red one going flat black by way of spray can?

I want it slammed soooooo bad. I'm sittin on Eibach Lowering Springs but they just dont do the job. The burgundy crx is getting coilovers and the tokico illumina adj struts from the red one. I think the mesh rims would like 10x better if the car was flat black/slammed.

Well I got started today. I new it wasnt gona be a 2 hour thing, especially since we got hit with rain. Managed to get the hatch/roof done. I had to do it cause I was curious how the contrast would look. It came out alright, a little blotchiness.
Now that I realize I can obtain numerous paint-sprayers from my grandpop, and we have a compressor, im gonna spray the whole car right. hmmhmm then slam it, haha

If you plan on keeping it at all, why don't you skip the ugly flat black paint job and try and fix that rust.

Well, when I get the other car done, this red one is gonna be chilllin in my back yard, potentially a track car because its an 88dx, 2nd lightest 2ndGen crx model. I'm not too concerned with the rust, the car is a piece and Im not ready to tackle that job. I've hit 14s with it with a stock single cam vtec, Its had a good run, now its time to paint it flat black
