slotted/drilled rotors?
there usually markings stamp on the rotor stating either L for left and R for right....and if there is not then my guess in the pic, is the left is for left side....i have power slot on my car and the marking where stamp on the rotor....so yes it does matter which direction they go....good luck
suposidly you can do it either way. the intended way is for the slots/fins to fan out. I heard in japan that some people do it the opposite way. the logic behind this is that it cuts air into the rotor rather than out of the rotor.
edit: why is this in the apperance forum?

No doubt...they should say it on them.

Why would they work any different if they were flipped around the other way?

Unless there are directional vanes inside the rotor (which yours don't have), then it makes absolutely no difference what side the slots go on...
bump for a final answer.. so all the pics i posted are installed wrong, correct?
btw, there are no stamps that say which side they should go on because these are actually brembo blanks that were professionally drilled and slotted.

you can install them either way. one way fans air out the other forces air in. different methods of cooling. kind of like fans for your car, one can push air the other can pull air.
