everything would swap right over, the wiring would be the only concern but you should be able to use the stock wiring, but since you have the donor car the wiring from that could be used as well
awsum
thanks ! what about the drive shafts (axes) do u think they would fit because the car is a diff model (shape) although the widths of the cars are exaclty the same, checked it on parkers.co.uk

just search for info on b series engines in eg chassis. this swap has been done many many times, so you won't have any problems finding the info you need in the archives.

Ok i remember seeing this vehicle, scratch everything i said before as i thought the donor car was the same generation as the car it was going into. the mounts wont work, neither will the wiring without modification. Axles may work with your stock knuckles, but i cant say either way as the thrim level of the car you are swapping into isnt avaliable here. you can use the motor and transmission, but you will needs parts from a 92-95 VTi.
You are back to squre one, my apologies.

right ok but the mounts look the same and width ov the car are also the same not sure about suspension tho , so u dont reacon the enigine will fit althought it is a b18c engine i thought the the units were the same ?
Umm, if the engine mounts are the same, you can swap it in. I don't know if the mounts are like EGs or EKs. If they are like EGs, it will swap right in, if not you will need to get EK4 mounts. Axles probably won't be a problem as long as the splines are the same and the suspension is similar.
right ok thanx so the eg and ex arnt the same mounts i take it ? what is required with the wiring ? i have a donar car but it has AC does this matter ? thankx
