sparkplug configuration... need help
this is a simple problem, but as i'm just learning how to work on my car it's enough of one that i need some help. i had a radiator hose blowout and while i was replacing the hose, i unhooked all the sparkplugs to get to it. of course im new at this and didnt even realize they had to go back in a certain order. dumbass... oh well. if anyone can tell me the configuration for an 86' accord, starting from the battery side, that would be excellect. i'll check back later. thanks.
The plug nearest the timing belt is number 1, the firing order is 1, 3, 4, 2. Maybe someone will post a pictur of their distributor for you or do a search. I will do a search for a few minutes and see what I find and will repost if anything good, no repost = nothing good quickly found.

if you're looking at the distributor you can go

This person stated that it doesnt matter where number one was but I think that is incorrect, one of the sensors in the distributor is called the CID or TDC sensor and establishes #1 spark plug so that fuel injection can be properly timed. It appears from the post that the distributor rotor turns clockwise, 1, 3, 4, 2 for the correct firing order.
