Default I need help removing my seats

Hey, I have a 90? something accord wagon and I was wanting to remove my seats for some weight reduction, but cannot figure out how to remove the bottom half. Can someone help please.

It looks like there is a clipy thing........but it is rusted from Mt Dew.

I think There is a bolt, but it has more than 6 sides, Do I need JDM sockets?

I was thinking since you're taking them off for weight reduction, you don't need them anymore? There's a permanent solution that makes it easy to remove them... and whatever else is in the way...
