Default b series valve spring removal

I'm not actually doing this right now, but i might be later, and i was looking at my head, and i realized, how the hell do you get the valve springs out? a regular valve string compresser does not look like it'll work in there, is there a special tool or technique? just wondering, not urgent, thanks in advance

i just use a regular valve spring compressor... works fine for me... doesnt damage anything... just make sure you set it up in a safe way... i just have to shorten the gap where it sits against the retainer so it fits it... last time i forgot to shrink that gap it slipped and the keepers fell out and the spring went at the speed of light

theres a few trick ones out there with a little driver on it to remove the keeper then the retainer.

I happen to use a socket a couple times when taking apart heads.lol
