ksport coilovers
Already searched, want to know if anyone has these on their EF and what they think of them. Im debating between the ksports and the omnis. My suspension is bone stock right now and I plan on auto crossing fairly soon.
you can get the k-sport coilovers and lca's for about 850 i think. and id say that is money worth spending. one of my buddies has both k-sports and omni's....the k-sports are better by far. we all agreed on that. plus those lca's look mean under the car at night if you are following someone with them.
36 wayy adj thats nascar style.
if you are autocrossing then definatly ksport

Good to hear, the coilovers are slightly cheaper than the omnis from the quotes I have gotten. I havent considered replacing the lower control arms with the ksports though, not sure on the advantage. Plus I just put the 91 integra ones on my hatch.
Anyone else with feedback on these?

I have a mazda mx6 and my 2 friends have probes they are big for them like omni is for honda. They both like the ksports. I lost the website for ksport but i remember they looked good. Atleast the kit with pillow mounts.

its ksportusa.com, I just read a review from an EG guy https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1230772 and it sounds good enough for me. The coilovers look good also. Not sure if I will do the control arms or not...
K-Sports/D2 (same company that makes the two) are very hit and miss. Either they are great with good feeling and work perfecto, or they blow there struts or make noise or just plain garbage. Thats one thing that I've heard them do, the camber plate/pillowball mounts make noise in cold weather. You must take them apart and grease them. I'm basing it on what 240SX owners have said in the past.
I'd tell you to go with Megan Racing but they don't make a kit for the 88-91 Civic/CRX's; only 92-up (they do, however make a sleve-type coilover kit, but I'm talking about the full damper set-ups.). I'm planning on going with that company since I've heard so many good comments; no bad comments actually. The have the 36-way adjustability as well. They sell cheap just like the K-Sport/D2 suspension

We've done quite a bit of testing with the EF, and many applications. I would say they are worth the money. I have ran a lot of suspension products on my car, and I have even had custom coilovers made for my EM-1.
One of my customers actually road races his EF, I beleive in the SCCA h4 class. He has had pretty good results with it, and we set him up with a custom spring rate. I don't believe it's a hit or miss thing. Each one of our customers has said the ride quality has been excellent. You also have to consider the fact that most of my customers get custom spring rates from us. Each of my customers have a particular driving style or application and we do the right setup for them.
As for prices, we got pretty good deals on LCA/Coilover packages. Our inventory is pretty good. PM us if you have any questions. Hoped I was able to help some of you. Thanks. Have a good weekend guys!

Yea I'll admit the 36 is overkill because you wont notice a change for every one. But I felt noticeable change after adjusting the dampening on my Ksports multiple times.
To original poster, you'll enjoy your Ksports from JLB

I'm from Montreal, Canada. I'm ordering some from a local guy. Right now i'm running Neuspeed Race with OEM shocks (which all four are blown) I hope all goes well with the Ksports. I'm going to put them on my 1990 EF Si. I'll let you know everything once there installed.

are you able to manually adjust them from the top while installed like the Koni Yellows? How many inches are you lowered?

you can adjust the dampening from the top. I would but I somehow tossed the keys that adjust them :-( Some day I will convince someone to sell me one of theirs.
Here are some pics if you are bored:

I went down 3/4 to 1 inch all around. As you can see from the pics they will go much much lower without a problem. Like I said, a little to stiff for my tastes around town, but when I hit a turn faster than I should they are great.
