Running it on my B16 EG swap, no problems. Alot of people are going on about the "harmonic balance" First of all its a small 4 banger, not a V8. Secondly if harmonics was important than honda wouldnt make this pulley. The only down side is if you have arms like a chick, you cant run power steering. Big deal

It severly shortens the life of your oil pump. I don't even see the benifit of using one. If your trying to lighten up the crank, the flywheel is the place to do it (duh...). As for the reason Honda makes them at all, it's becuase it's a "road race" part (thats why it's called an N1 pully). Its for motors that see constant attention and frequent rebuilds...

I say don't waste your money. If anything, invest in a better "harmonic balance" and get yourself a "fluidampr". They dampen crank harmonics at every RPM (instead of a specific range like stock). It even comes with an underdrive alternator pulley...

Protect your investment!

How does it shorten the life of your oil pump?
