Thinking of getting a camaro.
A black 69 camaro SS to be exact. It would be a second car(the R will never be replaced). It's going to come with a 396 and possibly a T56 tranny.
Anyone ever drove or owned one of these before? share your thoughts.

To answer your question, I drove one, 4-speed manuel, stock, orange black, and f**king fast! Didn't handle as well as a honda, but it was pretty sweet! Only had a test drive for about 20 minutes, well worth the time!
nice car.. i had a 68 firebird and a 87 camaro and still got a 69 chevy step side (and, of course, the unreplaceable itr491)... parts are cheap.. easy to work on... i'm gonna get an impala one day... oh yeah no smog...

whoa, those pace car's are hard to come by.
where'd he get it?
But if were talking about rareities, I'd still prefer a Yenko. Now that was a real sweet ride.

My friend has a 67 Camaro SS. It has the 396 and its pretty damn fast. IT was the official Pace car of the Datona 500, he won it for 5 bucks on a raffle. It is all originally stock! Its Beautiful! If you have a chance get it. I can post a pic if you want. Ryan
There's nothing quite like a Big Block late 60's hot rod. A smile from ear to ear everytime you drive it. The handful I've driven have made the most melodious tunes on the planet, such that it raised every hair on my body when I'd rev the motor even when just sitting still
Truly awesome to drive, immensely popular with people of all ages, and timeless in design. Buy a piece of history, as you they just don't make cars like that anymore.

I'd jump on it! I'd love to have a 69 Camaro SS!!!!!!

I still want a 67-69 Corvette hardtop with a 427 in it.
I have a lot of respect for muscle cars. I think it all stems from the fact that when I was growing up, my Dad has a Hemi Cuda.. 1970 vintage I think. Man, I was like 7 years old and that thing would scare me whenever he'd rev it up. Nasty.
A little part of me wants to get into muscle cars. I mean, it's nothing like a Honda.. but the torque and the panty-dropping factor completely blows Honda out of the water.

A hemi cuda would be worth a fair amount right now too. I wish my dad kept all the cars he used to have. Especially the 65 vette...
