srs/side airbag light...HELP Please
Hey all. srs light on in 01 ex coupe. The damn side airbag light kept flickering on and off until I finally said **** it, and unscrewed the bulb from behind the guages. Damn sensor must be fucked cuz the light never stayed on continuously but tends to come on and then go off regardless of anything or anyone sitting in the seat.
So as I said, I took the side airbag bulb completely out. But now the SRS light stays on and has been on since. Anyone confirm this statement true:
"The SRS control unit monitors the bulb circuit, a missing bulb would make it fail and set a trouble code. "
need some feedback on this. should i re install the bulb and hope that the SRS light goes out? If it doesnt, what can i do to easily reset either or both of these lights. Not trying to take it into the dealer so they can rob my ***. Any help with this is much appreciated.

the side airbag light comes on when you have a passenger leaning to the side.. did you have a passenger when the side airbag light comes on? if so, its normal. there is a thead here on for directions to reset the SRS light.

That is true.
Have you checked the stored trouble code?
