Default problem with cruising

ok for the past couple weeks, when im cruising around town no matter what gear, my car just quits going at around 2krpm.

if im at a red light, and it turn green when i start moviing, car just jolts and i shift into 2nd....nothing and then 2 sec. later it goes. Or whi8le cruising around 40 in 5th gear, 2-2500 rpm steady throttle.....feel like the car just shuts off and after a couple seconds it has power agian

could this be tps sensor? or possably a plugged up cat?

throwing 02 sensor code and electrical load detector code....but i have been for about 2 or 3 months and no problems untill now

motor: 94-95 b18c1 and my cars converted to obd1

help me guru's

Could be clogged up cat, if your oxygen sensor has died then you will be running rich for a good majority of the time, and our old cats go "ARGHGHH!" keel over and then die when this happens.

its so0methign electrical because it is quitin at the same RPM all the time..

i have seen this issue with messy chip jobs and programs that were defective, if i were u i would try another ECU see if u srtill get the codes..

another thing it might be the Distro, but in this case i doubt it since u are throwing the electrical load detector code which is a bastered at times...

u mention it justeded to happed, and it didnt happen in teh past try goung around looking for cut wires and loose grounds...

to test the TPS justr disconect it, it should just make teh engine flutter up and down...drive it around liek that with teh engine reving up and down if it doesnt turn off when u drive it that migth be teh issue...

check your alternator load, if it's under 14v+ and drops to 11v+ for a second when you turn accessories on like headlights/highbeams and heater fans... thats Alternator or Battery.

The only other thing that really stops you from going past a certain RPM, is a bad distributor.

Fix those codes, I doubt it's the chip but you can always send the ECU to Moetz and have them check it for $40 or less. They have some killer prices.

EDIT: it doesnt cut out all the time, just sometimes, it stopped for about qa week and started back up again a couple days ago
