i am finishing my motor swap(z6y8 into a 96 dx hb) and noticing that my throtle cable is way to long now what do o do about this

 

which intake manifold are you using? the Y8?

are you using the Z6 cable or Y8 cable?

 

i am just using the one out of my 96dx the swap didnt come with a new cable if i need a new one what am i looking for and where can i get it

Just call them. That way you don't waste your time searching on the site for nothing. That's what I do.

BTW you can probably use the Z6 cable, it is slightly shorter if you're concern.

 

if you switched to the y8 manifold then ...most likely you have to switch to the y8 throttle cable ....z6 may work also
