did a search for hot restart and got 1 thread, the TW sensor i am assuming it is the temp water? well i swapped it out with the one that came out of the dx engine, still the same thing.
car will not start hot. starts fine cold, but will not restart hot and misses throughout the power band up till about 4000 then ir revs fine. if you smash the gas, it falls on its face, if you slowly bring it up through the band it goes fine. i am out of bullets on this car. i can not figure it out. please help me.
replaced:
dizzy with another and a brand new one
cam sensor with another used one
water temp sensor
plugs
fuel filter
tps twice
ecu with a pm6
fuel pressure regulator has good fuel pressure anyway
iat with the dx iat
map sensor
like i said i am out of ammo, and darts. any help again is appreciated.

wow, my car does the same exact thing.
try the air intake temp sensor. its on the drivers side of the intake mani, change that. Mine was a dx to zc also. it gets real hard to start when its cold outside. also turn the key on acc. then turn it so it goes to turn the starter over, but then let off right away, so the starter begins to kick over but let off before it tries to fire. do that 10-15 times. and try to start it. it wont ruin your ****. i have done it for 8 months and my car runs good as hell when it warms up. Most of all change the air intake temp sensor.

not to be negative, but this is a customers car and the way to start it you expressed will not fly with someone that is paying to have this car start right. i am in the process of installing the third set of injectors. there is no fuel on them at all thats why i think it is a delivery problem. there is 35 psi rail pressure so. i am sorry i am at the point of throwing darts. and i hate being that way. thanks for the help nonetheless.

I believe the distrbutor or the cam angle sensor(can't remember which on the zc) sends a signal to the ecu and then the ecu will pulse the injectors. Did you make sure the cam and ignition timing is set correctly?

yeah initial timming is spot on. it ran fine for 30 minutes then crapped out. car has good compression too so the belt is on correctly.

i have tried a PG6 88-89 integra and a chipped PM6 both have same result,
i know there is gas in the car because it doesnt do this cold. also get this, when it will not restart, carb cleaner or ether makes NO difference. figure that out. but it has spark.

try replacing the IAT(intake air temp) sensor, even a brand new one might not be a bad idea, they arent to expensive@the dealer if i remember right.
ad for the starting fluid not popping the car off a coupple times makes me think that it is definately spark related. cam angle sensor on a ZC is on the exhaust cam, and im 51% sure that it controls injector timing, as for ignition timing, i would say it is prolly tdc inside the dizzy.
take the fuel rail out, while still plugged in/in the rail(my injectors stayed inthere when i tired this, but i held them tight on the rail), pull the pllug on the dizzy, and turn the key, see if all the injectors spray. This will answer your fuel problem.
im gunna call IAT on this one.

i did the rail trick, and the IAT that is on there is off of the dx and it is doin the same thing. the dizzy was replaced with a reman still the same, i cannot get another cam angle sensor because they are a little pricey.
