It says Acura in his ad, I will have my buddy check when I go down to acura to pick up a few parts.

 

dunno but i know where that is located i think.. from the looks of the background.. the car has been on ebay for a few months now.. thought it was sold already for 14k

 

well, i don't know whose R this is but it's damn clean and it's going for pretty cheap

I saw the car on sale the first time right around the time the insurance company had just decided to total my car out. I was suprised to see it listed again and I saw it the day the auction was closing. I sent a message to the seller saying if the sale falls through to contact me. The seller's e-mailed me to see if I'm interested, so I wonder if his sales have fallen through twice. I've asked, but he hasn't answered that question yet.

Any of the Chicago folks know who's car this is or anything about it?

 

That guy's taking a risk starting bidding at 10k with no reserve! What if it only hit 12-15k when it's worth several thousand more?

Whose = possession: "Whose car is this?"

I've mentioned I want to look at the car and have to contact him to arrange it. I just wanted to know if anyone here knew who owned the car and/or anything about it. I've got to do something about replacing my car this week and having exhausted most of my other options, it looks like this may be one of my last options before buying a Subaru. Of course the thought of buying an almost 5 year old car that's an unknown quantity concerns me a little, even if its a Type R.

You can buy the seat covers from Acura. You cant buy the whole seat new from acura you can only buy all the pieces. Then Acura rapes you put it together. I will be buying new covers shortly and letting my friend (honda technician) putem on.
