NNNOOOOOOO, dont do it. i almost thought about how nice it would be not to have my ITR, more money, peace of mind, i was even gonna look at an EK hatch as a new project, then i drove my car today and we fell in love all over again, still might be forced to sell her but im gonna hold out as long as possible. good luck with the sale.

Yah I never thought I'd sell it either. But I really don't like being in debt. And I know for sure I can get an NSX next summer in cash if I do sell it.98 or newer

If I could find a way to keep both cars I would. So that's why I'm still considering keeping it. I'm not 100% gonna sell it, just seeing if theres any interest. If I do keep it I cant buy the NSX in cash most likely. But I do love the car and would probably regret it just like my gf says.

And yah I declined the offer. I know it might sound crazy, but I want to find someone that can actually see how much it would cost to build them a car like this. They'd be way short at 17.5K with all the spare parts I would include. I'm sure I can find someone to appreciate it.

If EP Gonzalez can ask 40K+ I dont see why I can get half of that at least lol. I tallied up how much it would cost to build a similar car and its in the mid 20's

There seems to be a lot of R's either dying off or being sold off lately. Unfortunately mines in both categories.

nice car man, and good luck with the sale

BUT! you cant possibly expect to get much more than 17.5 on a salvage. 17.5 is way more than i would pay for any salvaged R.

and as nice as the car is, it can not be compared to EP gonzalez's car on even it's best day

EP's car has 10k miles, and its practically a mugen piece of history. its in absolute mint condition and hasnt been painted a NON-ITR origional color

your car is nice, but lets enter reality

17.5 is great offer

EP gonzalez should get in the 25k-30k range for his, even though he doesnt care about the money all that much

mods are only worth about 10-20% of the origional price when sold on a car
i have over 15k in my car, and theres no way someone would pay even 5k more than the 18k book value

goodluck

wow ken, i cant believe you are thinking about selling that car...especially now? after all the time and work put into it. maybe if you tracked the car mor eyou might get the love back and damn those bills? thats what im going through too. after the thunderhill event, i just screw my money issues and decided to get back on the track! money will always come and go...

anyway good luck on the sale and i will pass the word around, but it might help if you could give me an expected selling price? im me or call!!

Yah I don't really want to sell. But the way I see it, I don't like paying two insurance costs on a beater and my itr when i only drive the itr so little. Im paying 1700/year in insurance on the itr and i put like 2000 miles on it lol that's a dollar a mile almost.

And I did not mean to offend anyone by mentioning EP's car. He was asking 40 something and I said I think I'd be happy with half. If that's what it's worth to me and somebody wants to pay it whats the harm in that? I realize EP's car is special, nowhere did I say my car is as good as his or as nice. I said I don't see why i cant get half of what he was asking for his. Please read what I typed not just who I mentioned LOL. Calm down please I did not want to stir up any trouble. That is just the price I'd be willing to part with it for. I realize it's a long shot.

And 1457 is for sale too and he is asking 25K with 41K on the chassis.

I guess I'm looking for the one right buyer who appreciates the car for what it is. Who knows one of my friends will buy it. For the right buyer that wants a very well setup car that he does not need to touch to have a great fast HPDE car then this would be the one.

Think about it this way guys. We own the market on these cars. If we want to raise the market price on them all we have to do is raise the price on all of out itr's for sale. If people want them and are willing to pay we can move the market price up. They are limited production and will never be produced again. I think that the price of these cars are going to go way up in the future so why not start now? It will be better for you all if we can raise the value of these cars. You all have to remember your college econ classes.

The price on a rare good should be set at whatever the buyer is willing to pay for it to get the most profits. It's the cycle that makes the world go round!!!!

<----Econ Major hahha

If you're talking about me, I did buy it back and am planning to sell it to someone who plans to rebuild it as a track car.
