No flames from me. Education

How much do you owe on the car? Can you afford to pay it off right away? If not, go with the option that makes most sense (i.e. education). IMO, ITR is soooo impractical for a college life. What you need are big frigging cars/suvs so you can haul beer-buddies and chicks.

I owe less than 15% of the loan amount of the car so thats not a MAJOR problem

Well, I would just pay that off the loan and practically take insurance off the car. And, just get a beater for a few years until you're done with college. (basically, have a cake and eat it too.)

Sonic: Sell it. After you get out of college you'll be able to easily find an ITR somewhere or just get a better car (yes guys, they DO exist, and certainly will in 4-5 years)

It really depends on what happens with my job. My job *may* be paying for the majority of my college and then I could afford to keep the ITR or get an S2000 but just depends...I figured I should just put it up there and see where it goes

Store it and get a cheap car. Educashun is obviusly a good ting , but I think as time goes by, clean, unmolested ITRs will be few and far between.

Get your education!!! That's the most important thing. If you can't afford both school and your car, then sell the car. They're are plenty of ITR's out there (contrary to what you hear) and you'll be able to find another one as soon as you've graduated and have a job, assuming you still want an ITR then.

I got two words for ya...

STUDENT LOANS

Keep the R - go perilously deep into debt to fund your education - it's the American way.

It's a Fuggin car. You have the rest of your life to own them...and some of them will probably be nicer...gasp! Get your education, get a good job, and buy something else you like one day...or just get a vintage R!
