gotta question

i got a 94 Honda Civic HB, and today i was driving on the highway down shifted when going on the off ramp and now it sounds like a go-kart..and shakes like hell.. like its bout to stall out.. any ideas?

sounds like you are running on less than 4 cylinders. Check for spark on all the plugs and overall condition of plugs, all spark wires seated properly... if all good look at fuel

 

well i did a compression test and it was at 30 on the 2nd valve.. so what u think i need to do

 

probably bent some valves. gotta pull the head and look and replace.

 

how high did the revs go when you downshifted?

 

4 or 5 not very high... but now the car wouldnt even start..so i bought new spark plugs and still nothing.... what now

 

it sounds like a bent valve, you need to check that out.

 

k if it is a bent valve is that alotta work and money???

cause this is a swaped engine i put it and im sick of working on this car now..lol
