Im helping a friend swap a H22a into his 97 civic coupe.
He is using HCP mounts.
Can I use an accord f22 rear trans bracket for the swap ?
Is it the same as the preludes h22 bracket ?

I searched plenty.
H22 bracket.
F22 bracket.
h22 f22
Tons of info, just none of what I need.
Some hints.
But nothing that was for SURE.

i cant remember were and i just spent about 10mins trying to find it but i remember were... someone said and measured both and the f22 and the h22 rear bracket are a little bit different which is why people were having problems with alignment.

maybe someone else knows for sure? if so please let this guy know

i have seen newman post that hte h22 bracket is the oen that htey designed the moutns around, and tha tif you dont use it they dont guarantee it will work right. i do also know the brackets are somewhat diff as well

 

Accord rear bracket did not line up with rear mount.
about 1 1/2 to 2 inches too high.

Just a heads up for some people.

 

Odd that bracket didnt line up at all wiht my swap... Guess its becasue its an EG eh...

 

It bolted right up to the trans.

 

Does anyone know if the f22 bracket will fit a 00 hatch w/ h22 swap?

 

This is old thread but will help you out...

90-97 Accord Dx and Lx 5 spd and all 92-01 Prelude Auto or 5 spd. Use the same Rear T Bracket which uses the short 3 bolt rear mount not tall 4 bolt. This should be the Rear T Bracket all Hybrid swaps use.
