I currently own a 93 del sol si. And I wanna put the b16a3 in it and I was wondering Whats the differnce between the b16a2 and the b16a3. I cant find anyplace that sells the a3.

Same engines, different years

There are differences in the motors. The B16A3 came from the 1994 DelSol VTEC, probably not going to find this one too easy. The B16A2 is 99-00 civic SI. Yes different years I give you that but there are also slight differences in emissions equip, wiring etc. Both USDM junk IMO. But you can always fix the over-restricted nature of these motors with plenty of mods.

 

ok thxs for the info. Is there a big differnce between the JDM b16a2 tq and the usdm b18c1 tq?

 

b16a2 - 116 lb tq
b18c1 - 126 lb tq

 

I know the numbers...I was wondering if you can feel a huge differnce between them
