94 accord ex.....just swapped in a new motor stock for stock (sohc vtec 2.2) .....idle is jumping around and I need suggestions on what can be wrong....please guys don't tell me to search I need answers ASAP thanx

I had same problem. What I did was removed fast idle thermo valve (on bottom of throttle body) and cleaned it with carb choke cleaner. The sporadic idle could also be brought on by an airbound cooling system. This is air bubbles in the coolant. Clean the FI thermo valve and flush radiator assuring u bleed all air out. There is an air purge valve on the top side of the thermostat. That did the trick for me.
