will a b20 A/c Bracket have the clearnace on b18b in EG?
I'm retaining the A/c, I have a b18b in the EG right now. I've just bolted up the b20 CRV a/c bracket onto the block for the compressor (still have to pick up another bolt tomorrow as one I was hoping to save from old bracket was broken off). Looks to me that the aluminum CRV bracket sticks out 1 1/2 inches further out then the old b18b bracket. I've already taken the Fan out just so I could get the bracket in place. Has anyone, that has done this bracket swap, had clearance issues?
Also what belt will I be using? GoodYear the part number is 4040332 GSR belt? This is about the only info I could come up with when searching. I can only guess its slightly bigger b/c the compressor is larger on the GSR and this will make up for the difference of retaining the stock civic compressor but using the larger A/C bracket? Right now I still have my old B18b Belt for the A/C.

You can use Del Sol a/c bracket but why? It's heavier, and cost 3x as much. I'm looking for people that have actually installed the CRV bracket on a civic swap.
I used the crv "P7J" bracket on my itr swapped del sol. It was not aluminum though. The p7j works on all b18 motors in an eg. It cannot be used on b16 motors in an eg if you keep the power steering.
Here's a big pic but you can't really see the bracket: http://www.we-todd-did-racing....D.jpg
