i just got a jdm HID type r front end and the headlights has hella scratches...i've searched and the only way i can fix the problem is to wet sand and polish them...my ? is can i just have a bodyshop reclear them to look new instead of wet sanding and polish??im scared to use sandpaper on these headlights..

 

hmmm...if i were you i would ask a bodyshop first...someone you trust. if they can't, then you can always try yourself. i think you'll be fine just sanding and polishing..good luck

why would u clear a headlight? The output will be all fucked up man. Painting a headlight with cearcoat is a ver bad idea.

check alot of body shops, i guess you call it shopping around, don't do it if you've never done it/or uncomfortable with it, find someone you trust
