Default sup peoples, new to honda-tech here, need some wisdom/advice

Hey, after messing round the sportbike scene for the last few years, I'm needing a change of pace. I just got a hold of a stock 2000 Civic HX coupe, cept the GSR seats. Need some wisdom and advice and what should be done. I'm not trying to make a racer or a ricer. I just want a nice clean lookin decent daily driver. Here is what I'm thinkin so far some 16 inch 5Zigens RX-6 Hyper Black, Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S 205/45/16, Skunkz 2 coilovers, Mugen Front Lip, AEM cold air intake, and Tanabe exhaust. Thats basically it.

Here is the car in all it's stock glory, cept for the GSR seats

Instead of buying mods for a motor that's not really going to gain any power, put in a motor that will give decent power and be relaible. Even just put in a B16 into it and it will be a nice car that's not "racey or ricey".

keep it like that and drop it some, put tint on it and a front lip. Intake and header maybe but no exhaust if its daily driver. trust me you will dislike it when your going places and someone trys to race you and you cant do **** cus of your stock d motor with a fart can on it, unless they have the same setup...lol. but definately, if you want to sell those wheels, they are very much desired right now. They are super light and look good so i figure thats why people are wanting them right now. but i would just put some 16's and drop and tint and intake and lip and you will have one clean ride.

I don't know about tint, I kind of want to keep it tintless. what about getting High Intensity beams for the front?

-Slaps- Sorry, you were headed towards the land of rice.

Joking.

I say put in a better motor. With all that you're planning to spend on Exhaust tires and wheels. You could have a nicely paced car.

man 1995ex I like your Avatar, I like APC; but my 2 fav bands are Deftones and Maynards ole band Tool. Remeber I just want it to be better lookin and ride better than stock, but I dont want it to be a racer or ricer. When I said high intensity beams i meant something like HIDS, nothing ricey.

hey 95Ex, i guess i'll do a b16 swap with a y8 tranny; maybe turn my car into a sleeper; and yeah i like that maynard and deftones compilation, did you also know maynard played recently with the former members of Alice in Chains for a benefit concert. I like tool and deftones both thats why my user name on Xbox live is Tool-Deftones

b16 swap and lower it, so it's not 4x4 monster truck style - good daily driver and a sleeper - keep the stock exhaust and wheels - mustang GT owners got pissed at me all the time before I put the exhaust on my d16 turbo - they couldn't stand being beat by a stock looking beater.

An EX motor in the EK Model civics is called a d16y8 and will require a d series tranny....However if you are wanting a b16 from 99-00 Civic SI....then you will need a b series tranny such as an 99-00 SI tranny or any hydraulic tranny from an integra...

one of my pet peeves would be those ugly black moldings. i dunno what it is about them, i just think a car is less attractive with those on there.

lol....thats a good one. Even if that setup worked...why would you consider a y8 tran with a b16 engine?

Car looks good man, I'd suggest swapping a b16 into it, that would give you some decent power.
