Sorry I can't help more then offering one of those selfstore places and make sure your Ins is up to date. But you work on the rig out at sea? . . . could you get me a job on one of them- I'm seaworthy but have no experience. really.

No i work on a rig up in Nunavut. Look it up if you need to know where it is. If you can handle the cold and being away from civilization. I could most likely find you a job this fall. Its a slow season rite now with all the rain in Alberta but this fall will be booming.

Maybe one of the moderators can change the topic to "Sorry really need help in Alberta". That would highlight the topic so that h-t members in Alberta know to read this and maybe try helping, instead of just skipping over it because the topic title is so vague.

I have one uncle in Beaumont(just outside of Edmonton) and another living in Calgary. I'll ask them and let you know.

<-----wondering what's up with the 98% so soon

I live in Edmonton. Try doing a search on http://www.780tuners.com. It's a local forum and I'm pretty sure they've had a few discussions on this before.

You could try Griesbach (the military housing area) to see if they rent out their storage units to non residents. U-haul, Storage King, Ital Motors are a few places I've heard people storing their cars for winter. You could also try the yellow pages. I hope this could give you a starting point.
