Default No signal from TDC sensor? Pls help!

Hello everyone I have a question that is not realted to Preludes, but I know that I can get good results from this forum as I was an 2kPrelude owner. My '97 CR-V with 127k miles has recently had the check engine light on. I am the second owner of this vehicle. I went to autozone and the code it reads is P1362 which I looked up is "TDC sensor: No signal." Is this correct? Well I checked the resistance of the sensor on the distrubitor and it was within specs. (disconnect harness and check the ones that lead into the distributor) I checked the connection and everything seem fine. I resetted the PCM and after driving and then restarting the car the light came back on after a few miles. What can the problem be? I do notice that the car hesitates a little (when starting) and is harder to start sometimes. I've searched and came up with nothing. I noticed that Honda issued a extended emission warranty can I use that even though I'm the second owner? What should I do? Replace distributor? This is very frustrating! I have plans to drive down to Crater Lake, OR in two weeks!!!!(250miles) PLEASE HELP!!!! thank you.

i know on other parts (i.e our prelude cat's) what owner you are was irregardless, as long as you owned the car within the recall / warranty, and had a legitimate problem. call up ur local dealer
