I have tired problem......
i bought 4 tireds last years and now the 2 front one are worned off sooooo quick... they said that i need to fix the ligament but dunno where is it... and ideas? thank you..
Basically, for best wear, a cars' tires must be very close to absolutely straight up & down when viewed from either the front or rear. This, in automotive terms, is a camber value of zero (0) degrees.
Without getting into a lecture on automotive suspension practices, lets leave it that the manufacturer designs the suspension systems to properly function when they are adjusted to a determined value. Camber is usually within 1/4 of a degree of zero (0). This ensures that the tire contact patch is maximiized and doesn't concentrate wear on one side or the other.
What "They" were refering to is an "ALIGNMENT"; the process of getting the suspension to the proper values. It's a proceedure of adjustments, not a "thing" to look for

ok I have a reply. What kind of tires have you put on your Honda? I recently put Kumho tires on my 96 Honda Accord ex and I have had these tires on for three months. The tires were balanced and even rotated because of the weird wear that was happening. I then was told that the alignment had to be done after this wear occurred. I got the car aligned then only two weeks after this was done my back two tires are totaled. I was then told by Discount tire that I needed a aftermarket Camber Kit. Discount tire did not do the alignment and I had to take it to my machanic. My machanic at the time of the alignment did not tell me about the Camber kit.. TO ANYONE WHO IS GETTING HIGH PERFORMANCE TIRES PUT ON THEIR HONDA DO NOT PUT THE TIRES ON WITHOUT THE AFTER MARKET CAMBER KIT. I have now lost about 500.00$ in cost of new tires. I know that Discount tire did not disclose this information because they were planning to make alot of money off of me. Discount tire gave me a warranty for the tires but will not honor it because it is a problem with the Honda that I have.
