My setup is a 94 EX sedan lowered with Neuspeed Sport springs and Tokico Blue shocks.
The total drop is probably closer to 2" when the shocks are included in the equation.
Camber is -1.8 and -1.9 respectively in the front...

Anyone have an identical or similar setup with a front camber kit as well?
Due to the issues I see in threads about the upper control arm banging problem after camber kit adjustment, I need to figure out if A) that's an issue for me given this particular drop and camber readings, and B) if either the Ingalls Ball Joint or Anchor Bolt camber kits are less likely than the other to cause the banging problem...I hear that both change the geometry or height of the control arm, but in different ways.

I'd like to install a kit, but I don't want to have to cut holes in my engine block just to have the camber fixed and not blow out my ball joints by banging the inner fender.

Is there anyone out there that has a camber kit that didn't cause banging?

 

I bought an SPC ball joint camber kit for my 96 accord but I didnt end up dropping it as much as I thought. PM me and I'll sell you my ball joint SPC kit that corrects up to 1.5 degrees.

 

Go with the ball joint, I have the same set-up on the same car and I have had nothing but problems with negative camber because of those damn anchor bolts. By the way you are going to have that problem with the upper control arm hitting the upper fender well if you go with the anchor bolts. I have that issue now and wish they had the ball joint kit when I first did my set-up.

Ok, so the anchor bolt kits are out.

Can anyone vouch for a similar suspension setup with an anchor bolt kit installed that didn't have the banging problem?

What do you guys know about the SPC anchor bolts replacements? Quality, durability, effectiveness. I don't know anything about the company.

You will get the UCA hitting the fender, but it's nothing a bittle banging on the fender and a little grinding on the UCA, can't fix.

 

So it looks like NO camber solutions out there for 90-97 accords will end up with no banging.

Does anyone know how much taller the replacement ball joint is over the stock ball joint? I.E. how much height does it add to the UCA.

 

Anyone have SPC ball joint replacements? Quality?

i have put them on manny cars and it is a great kit i recommend it plus i dont know if u have replaced ur ball joints ever so this would be a good i dea correct ur camber and replace a wear and tear item so that u dont end up driving one day and ur ball joint fails not a good thing...
