Spoon Sport Radiator Cap (DID SEARCH)
One fits older cars like the EF and DA, the other is for newer cars like the EK and DC. It's just a fitment code, the cap is identical in its function.

$35 shipped if you shop around. I prefer any of the others but Spoon [Mugen, Buddy Club, Cusco, ARC etc...] Everyone I know who has one says the logo piece on the cap falls off in time, including mine.
Shift **** does the same thing too.

i agree to a point
a $poon radiator cap is pointless because you are mostly paying for a name but a radiator cap that will increase pressure will subsiquently increase boiling temprature for the entire cooling system. may be good or bad depending on how you look at it.

eat your words... the spoon cap is 1.35... stock is 1.1... each point will increase the boiling point 3 degrees... so 2.5 points is 7.25 degress... WOW it actually does have a function!... now maybe people will buy them for more of a reason other than just having something spoon in the engine bay... i would recommend them if you have an all metal radiator and need the extra cooling capabilities due to strenuous racing/autox/etc... ive seen these caps make a stock radiator leak, most likely due to the higher pressure

let me try this again should have been a little clearer last time.
a SPOON CAP is a waste of money, increased pressure or not, you are paying for a NAME.
a radiator cap with a higher pressure is a worthwhile upgrade at 1/2 the cost of a $poon unit.
that make more sense?

ok thats better... but i still dont agree... its not a total waste of money... i mean it does still serve a purpose... as for the $900 mugen valve cover... well yeah you can return that ****... thats what you call paying for a name imo

your mother ******* momma it's magnesium
from kings website
"These aluminum engine head covers are manufactured individually using sand casts in the same way as those for Mugen Formula engines"
I'm not sure about the spoon raditor cap but the designations are usually for either stock radiators or aftermarket since they have different filler openings to pressurize

I believe they are for different applications. call the company before you buy and ask. that way you know what your getting.
