Just an FYI:
My Si factory key fob survived about 3-4 hours of surfing in the atlantic this past weekend. I got out, was pissed/worried that I couldn't find my keys and had lost them, only to get to my car and realize they were in my pocket the whole time. Doh.

Hit the unlock button and the sucker worked! Haha, 3 days later and still working fine!
Just figured I'd pass that along...

i would not have put "Indestructable Key Fob"
should have put water proof/resistant

 

I put my Accord fob into the washer and then the f-ing dryer by mistake once. Turned out to be of the destructible variety...

 

I fell in the ocean water while kayaking and when I got to my car, it wouldn't work. The salt water ate up the circuit inside. I wouldn't try it next time.

 

what does fob stand for?

isnt it like factory original something...?

but yeah thats crazy it survived. were they like waterproof pocket lined swim shorts? usually any water would f@wk them up.
