Installing gauges...question about dash removal...
I was just wondering if you need to remove the whole dash when installing gauges. Just saving myself a little work if possible. Thanks guys.
Gauge cluster? No you don't.
Gauges? Where are you mounting them? I would if I was actually mounting them in the dash and had to cut a circular hole in it.

Sorry for not being more specific. I am installing an rpm gauge, shift light, and oil pressure gauge. I have the dual gauge holder that sits in front of your gauge cluster, so the gauges will be set there. As far as the shift light, it will be mounted somewhere around the gauge cluster as well. Thanks for the feedback guys!

Well again, depending on where you place them you might not be able to reach the wires from underneath without pulling some accessories like climate control, vents, etc.

you should be able to squeeze them through there since its an oil pressure guage and most likely electronic with a sensor, smae thing with the tach it will need the power and signal wires i dont think you will have trouble getting them in there without drilling and all that stuff
well you got to remove the stock gauge cover. (thing in front of gauges) and you got to remove the knee panel that what i removed to install mine. then what you do is run the wires under the dash and up to the gague cover. then you connect the gauges while there in the gauage pod. then install the gauge pod and find a main power to wire the light for the gauges and then put everything back! hope it helped. sry if it dont make sense typing while talking on the phone is not that easy!
Yes no need to even remove the dashboard, if you're installing that bezel, all you need to do is remove the driver side kickpanel (so you can run the wires behind it), remove gauge cluster, remove stock bezel, replace, reverse procedure
If you're mounting after market glow guages on your OEM guages right now it's quite simple.
Start by removing the hazard switch with a flathead screwdriver. There should be a screw under that, remove that. Then, by your cluster, there are 2 obvious screws at the top remove those. The rest of the plastic peice is held in by clips, start on one side and work your way around.
Once that peice is off, the cluser is held in by 4 screws, they are very obvious to see. Once those are out, pull out the cluster and disconnect the 4 plugs from the back. Now the cluster is free, you can remove the plastic cover from the obvious 3 clips on the top and bottom. Now you're free to remove the screws from the guages and put on new ones.
