Hi everyone,

a friend of mine has this kit installed, and the mugen pads are almost worn out, including the discs that the pads literally "ate"... the slots on the disks disappeared with those pads!
so basically he needs to know what brands of disks/pads are compatible with the mugen calipers so he can replace them.

To my knowledge it's all from an S2000...though you might want to give King Motorsports a call to double check that.

Considering the Mugen pads are 250$ and 200$ front and rear...

he says wonders about it, you can actually seen SPARKS coming out of both wheels when he hit the brakes, but the fact is: both rotors and pads need to be replaced after only 10k kms...

so can he order a set of s2k rotors? will they fit properly?!

 

The pads should fit. the rotors are quetionable.
But why did he buy the mugen system anyway if it werent for the rotors????
thats the only real advantage to them

 

Didn't consider the replacement cost of the rotors!
Hint: Get a fresh set from Mugen and have them cryo'd,
they'll last at least twice as long afterwards without twice the cost.
