Default Head problems on rex

I have a cracked head on my stock 90 dx D15 engine and I was wondering what heads I could replace it with? Can I put a DOHC head on it or do I have to stay SOHC? And where could I get my head fixed if I can't replace it? I searched but havent found anything at all.

u have to stay SOHC, but a d16a6 on it because it's easy and from even asking if u can put a dohc on it i can tell you dont have the knowledge to mess w/ converting to obd1 for a d16z6 head.

Not trying to be an ***, just realistic.

The head is the same casting, just higher quality from the factory, Also the cam is different so you will get more power. My favorite way of explaining it is to look at the power of the D15B7.

Where can I find a D16 head? Any sites sell it or do I have to go to the junkyard?
