I just changed my clutch and throw out bearing and now when idleing out of gear it sounds like my throwout bearing it making noise, then when I put a little pressure on the clutch, it goes away. I greased the throwout bearing, maybe not enough, any ideas?

I believe the rule of thumb is that if it's making noise with the clutch pedal depressed it's the throwout bearing, if it's making noise with the clutch pedal released then it's either the input shaft bearing or the engine side bearing - normally the ISB.

Or, at least, that's what someone screamed at me last time I put my nose into one of these discussions - so YMMV.

 

when i drive and hit the clutch ihear it
